SubPsych Studio is a boutique agency specialising in developing transformational experiences for corporate and commercial settings. We work alongside Visionaries who feel the need to go above market or industry expectations, go beyond status quo, and create measurable, tangible transformation in people.
We believe there is a science to transformation, despite how unique, mysterious and unfathomable the process itself may seem.
People have unique journeys, but the commonalities between them create patterns that are definable and measurable. This makes no journey less sacred or less valuable. It just means we have a common connection in the means to reach our own unique potential.
We are determined to study this through intimate, real-time data collection, in response to the interventions we design. This is because we believe in discovering the truth and being accurate, not just having things feel good, look good or sound good.
We are constantly developing our methods, exploring existing theories and testing them through data-collection. We are interdisciplinary - no theory is off the table as long as it can contribute to our understanding of transformation.
We believe in mystery and intuition and creativity, that can be 'brought back' and tested, paving the way for deeper and higher understanding.

After receiving BSc (Hons) Psychology and Postgraduate Certificate in Institutional Development, Imani created a commercial learning company, which has developed over 500 learning programs and courses for prominent online academies and serves over a million learners. Over the last few years, after 12 years of Depth Psychology experience (non-clinical), she realised that there is a deep need to assist companies to utilise psychological processes and techniques to enhance various aspects of their business and developed proprietary methodologies including the SubPsych Signature. Out of a combination of all of the aforementioned, she started to work on what is now the Integrative Psychological Framing System. She has set a strong focus towards injecting ethical imperative around psychological effects into the development of social and learning technology.

Kirsty’s initial background was in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning. After pivoting to a career as a learning content writer and curriculum consultant on technology and psychology topics, she joined the team as a founding member, having realised there was opportunity and benefit in combining the nuances of machine learning with transformative models used in psychology. She has been involved with the development of innovative proprietary methodologies to deeply understand target learning audiences, getting to the root cause of thought and behaviour patterns, and designing implicit micro-interventions to target performance, wellbeing, and other psychological growth areas.

A learning experience is more than just a few clicks of a boring presentation we have to sit through - it should genuinely help the employees perform at their best and speak the same language as the organization's culture. Given the many distractions of modem day technology and social platforms, it is becoming increasingly hard yet pertinent to include modern learning into the old-school approach of adult learning. And this journey starts from integrating modern learning design with the client's culture, identifying the learning solution that would work best, working with clients as stakeholders, all the way through to having matrices and KPIs to ensure that the learning solutions are bearing the results that promote the company's culture and growth in the right direction.
His professional experience is varied - from becoming a programmer at 16 to working in direct sales, to marketing and psychology. At a young age he started a business incubation company, and through this business and in his personal capacity he has incubated over 30 companies across different industries, regions, and of different sizes. His professional experience is varied - from becoming a programmer at 16 to working in direct sales, to marketing and psychology. At a young age he started a business incubation company, and through this business and in his personal capacity he has incubated over 30 companies across different industries, regions, and of different sizes. He previously co-owned and ran a large renewable energy company in which he was the Managing Director. He has also given back to society in other ways, such as through the work he did as an ambassador for a UN-affiliated organisation and writing about business and mindset development for magazines and newspapers including Forbes Africa. Over the last few years he consulted on growth strategies for business of different sizes, which has included various Fortune 500 level companies. He has brought his skills into SubPsych Studio initially to assist in creating psychological narratives for customer interaction. His role within SubPsych Studio has grown in order to utilise his skills as a strategic development executive which includes consulting in areas such as product/service development, marketing, project management, and strategic planning.
For me there are few things that bring more joy than helping others, and at the deepest level the best way you can help someone is by assisting them to adopt a behaviour, mindset, or perspective which contributes positively to their life. We can go even further by assisting this change to occur at a mass scale. From a business perspective

From a business perspective I am interested in how brands can use psychological interventions to connect more deeply with customers, and how psychological interventions within companies on an individual level can create company-wide change in terms of culture and outcomes.
